Choose the Right Christmas Tree

Norway Spruce (Picea Abies) emits a lovely, traditional Christmas scent of turpentine. Also known as Red Spruce, it is one of the most common trees in the Nordics. It sheds its needles more than the Nordmann Fir, but using a Barry tree bag can solve the needle problem. Ordering a beautiful Christmas tree to your door has never been easier.

Nordmann Fir (Abies Nordmanniana) lasts longer and sheds fewer needles. The needles are longer and softer than those of regular fir trees and don’t prick because the Nordmann Fir doesn’t contain turpentine. Its needles are dark green with a silvery underside, giving it a rich appearance. The tree’s branches are full and resilient, retaining needles even as it dries. The Nordmann Fir, also known as the Noble Fir, gets its name from the tradition of donating Nordmann Firs to the Royal Palace in Stockholm by the Forest University students. It originates from the Caucasus region. Ordering a tree like the one presented to the king has never been easier.

You can also order Barry and Christmas Wreath separately.

Reliable delivery of the tree right to your door for those living in Stockholm.

Christmas Tree Care Tips

Ensure the tree has a fresh cut
Just like cut flowers, a Christmas tree needs a fresh cut to absorb water effectively. We make a fresh cut on your tree just before delivery. If you don't bring the tree inside the same day, you should make a new cut.
Water the tree generously in the first few days
Once the tree is in a warm environment, it will start to replenish its water reserves. In the first few days, it may drink up to a couple of liters of water per day.
Use lukewarm water
Water the tree with lukewarm water, following the rule: "the harder the stem, the warmer the water."
Avoid placing the tree in a too-warm spot
The cooler the location, the better the tree will thrive. Avoid placing the tree next to heaters, stoves, or open fireplaces.
Spray the tree with water
Keep the tree moist by spraying it with water along with regular watering.
Be considerate of other plants in the home
Classic Christmas trees (not the Nordmann Fir) emit ethylene gas, which can be harmful to houseplants and cut flowers, causing them to wilt quickly. Therefore, avoid placing the tree directly next to other plants.
